This stunning Queenslander was renovated from top to bottom before coming onto the market. With features like stunning filigree work on the ceilings, unique pendant lights and natural wooden flooring, it oozes character and charm.

When the client came to me for advice on preparing the home for sale, I was able to explain how property styling and staging could bring life to his empty home. As can be seen from the photos, careful selection of furniture, colourful cushions and bedlinen helped enhance the house’s natural features.

The property was only on the market for a short time with couple’s keen to take up an early opportunity for private viewings on the Friday night before open home on Saturday and Sunday. It came as no surprise to the sales agent when a serious offer was made a week into the campaign. The home sold soon after. The winning bid was nearly $50 000 more than the asking price. This is a true indication that property styling works.

This home had been rented for years and was in need of a good repaint and clean. Most of the home was subsequently styled which added the personality and life it needed to have for that WOW factor.

There were numerous online views prior to open home and it was very satisfying to see over 20 couples turn up to inspect the first weekend. The home sold within the 6-week campaign period and the seller and buyer walked away happy.
